Info
Hommes Gallery is an exhibition space with a charitable purpose: it aims to provide the access to art to a wider and more divers audience.
We are founded in 2007. Since then, we organize five to six exhibitions a year in the exhibition space. In addition, a program of small events, such as reading, film, debate, music and workshops for children.
The artists with whom we work, often making figurative work, showing an interest for universal, social or human themes. They practice different disciplines of contemporary art: painting, drawing, video and installation art, performance and photography.
Our program is made possible by a contribution from the municipality of Rotterdam, with the proceeds of selling art and because of the work of a fixed group of highly enthusiastic volunteers.
You can help us contuing our work by buying an artwork. We can give you a personal advice about it.
Or by giving us a donation: our organization is a foundation with ANBI award: Stichting Hommes Foundation, kvk 24417011. Our boardmembers are Jannie Hommes, Tim de Haan and Denise Lösing.
The gallery is open for the public during exhibitions on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 15:00 to 18:00 or by appointment. In the period between two exhibitions the gallery is closed.
We hope to see you soon in our space or to help you in another way with your questions about art!
Yours sincerely
Jannie Hommes and team
