It's used to love, to distinguish oneself from others and be yourself with. The works of seven female artists illustrate the potential of the human body. In various disciplines they seduce and surprise to eventually make clear that nothing is what is seems and nothing is as expected.
Joke Ellenkamp is one of six prominent locals who are pointed by the municipality as a gay ambassador. Joke worked a long period as member of the city council. Now she is director of a major social organization and chairman of Radar.
From 21 - 24 July the Euro games will take place in Rotterdam, a sporting event with 6000 gay, straight, lesbian and bisexual participants. Euro Games offers their participants also a cultural program, of which Body & Soul is a part. www.eurogames2011.eu
